Recently I installed Xampp server.
I know apache is used to run php server scripts and MySQL is used for database actions and FileZilla for transfering files to web to server.
But I don't understand what the Mercury and Tomcat Modules are for, can some explain?
I know that Mercury is a mail server. I am not completely sure what Tomcat is, but I also have not googled this stuff yet (I have been working on Apache and MySQL, and I'm having my own problems with those). I trust that you have googled this by now, but I'm gonna answer this because other people might look through the XAMPP tags and see this and It might help a little.
